As part of Monday Beavers leadership team, you will help plan and deliver a safe and exciting programme for young people. You’ll use your energy and creativity to help young people have fun, develop their potential and earn a wide range of badges and awards.
There's no experience necessary and The Scout Association provide training for all volunteers. Beavers meet from 5.45pm to 6.45pm on Mondays based at Balerno Scout Hall.

Balerno Scouts are based at The Scout Hall, Ladycroft, Balerno EH14 7AG - with activities taking place around the area.

Travel expenses

Expense forms are submitted to the treasurer and paid by cheque. Expenses are generally reated to materials used in delivering activities. Larger items are paid directly by the treasurer for the group.

Training details

The Scout Association provides lots of training for all volunteers, some online and some in person.
All volunteers must complete 5 short mandatory courses online regarding safety, safeguarding and other key topics.
