Wasp Community Club

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact on your community? If so, The Wasp Community Club (WCC) wants to hear from you!
WHO THEY ARE:
Wasp Community Club is a dynamic organisation with charitable status, dedicated to creating positive change in our community. Since their establishment in 2009, they've been tirelessly working to provide kids with enriching football experiences. But that's not all – they also run a range of sports, health, education, and employability projects throughout Clackmannanshire. And now, the Wasps are on the cusp of something even bigger.
WHY WE NEED YOU:
They are searching for enthusiastic and forward-thinking individuals to join their Board of Trustees. As a Trustee at WCC, your role will be pivotal in shaping the club's future, setting strategic direction, and ensuring that their mission thrives. While their dedicated team of paid staff and volunteers handles day-to-day operations, your insights and decision-making will guide them toward even greater success.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Attend quarterly trustee meetings (or as determined by the Board)
- Review financial and operational reports
- Make strategic decisions that drive the club forward
- Share your fresh ideas and expertise
- Commit approximately 1.5 hours per quarterly meeting (with opportunities for additional involvement, as you see fit)
- No previous footballing experience required!
