Home-Start Aberdeen Charity Shop Volunteers

If you have time to support a local charity, we want to hear from you! Home-Start Aberdeen are looking for enthusiastic and energetic volunteers to meet and greet customers, organise donations and take cash and card payments at our city-centre charity shop at 101 George Street Aberdeen.


In return we offer:

· a chance to learn new skills (or share existing ones)
· and the opportunity to gain experience and confidence in the retail sector


… all while making a difference for young families in Aberdeen!

The willingness to commit time and energy to Home-Start Aberdeen, with a positive attitude to meeting new people and learning new skills.

Our shop is at 101 George Street, Aberdeen – directly across from the old John Lewis store.

Excellent support and relevant guidance is provide to all volunteers.

Minimum age: 16

Frequency & commitment
Flexible times available to suit volunteer.

Volunteers (aged 16-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
