Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of those who have served our country? Erskine Care Home in Gilmerton, Edinburgh, is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Volunteer Mealtime Helpers for our esteemed veterans.

🍽️ What You'll Do:
As a Volunteer Mealtime Helper, you'll play a crucial role in creating a warm and supportive dining experience for our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

➡️ Assisting in the serving of meals during mealtimes
➡️ Engaging with residents in a friendly and compassionate manner
➡️ Providing support to residents who may need assistance during meals
➡️ Creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere during mealtim

Experience required

No specific qualifications are required. We welcome individuals with a compassionate and friendly demeanour who can communicate well and are dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of veterans.

Travel details

Volunteers must independently travel to and from the home. Out of pocket travel expenses available

Travel expenses

Out of pocket travel expenses [bus and train fares and mileage costs] can be reimbursed.
