Baking/Cooking Group Facilitator

Serendipities is dedicated to creating inventive, delicious food while also offering opportunities for our members to develop meaningful skills. We make food for sale to users of Dudhope Castle, as well as for our own events and outside catering orders, working from recipes and our own ideas.

You’ll have plenty of kitchen common sense, as well as feel comfortable supporting others to try out their ideas. You do not need any formal cookery training. We have a busy and supported volunteering programme and hope that you will enjoy the social aspects of this role, as well as knowing that you are making a valuable contribution towards empowering individuals to lead fuller lives.

You will volunteer alongside one of our staff team for anything from a couple of hours to a full day. Our sessions run for two hours and we currently operate Tuesdays to Fridays, 10am-4pm.
