Youth Group leader

Ceres, Kemback and Springfield Church has an amazing opportunity to become a part of creating The Youth Club which has a great history and has been running in Ceres for over 10 years. The role involves helping the leader with running the session for young people, building amazing relationships and using your creativity.

The Tuesday Youth Club is for young people aged P5-P7 and the Friday club is for P7-S3.

Young people come to the church to enjoy a safe, friendly environment, build friendships, and chat over a cup of tea while participating in a variety of activities. It is an amazing chance to gain experience in the youth work field, as well as share your experience and passions with them.

Experience required

They are looking for openminded, nonjudgemental people, keen to share their time and experience with young people. The volunteer needs to want to get involved with the activities and participate while helping to assure everyone’s safety and being able to follow risk assessment and take leader guidance. They are keen to have volunteers who would like to share their passions with them, however, it is not necessary. Experience with young people is welcomed but a smile and can-do attitude is a must.
