Donation/Food Stock Administration Volunteer

We need your help in our Animal Rescue & Rehoming Centre to keep our donations and food stock in good order and ensure effective stock donation. You will also be responsible for sorting, cleaning and storing donated items as well as keeping the storage areas for donations/food stock clean and tidy.

Please note: This role does NOT involve any contact with the animals in our care. If you are looking for a role that involves hands-on experience with animals, please refer to the "Support Us" section of our website for a suitable opportunity being advertised.

Experience required

Practical experience of stock rotation (although training will be given)
Good organisations skills and the ability to work under your own initiative
A good awareness of health & safety requirements in relation to your role
A reasonable level of fitness and mobility, as the role involves lifting and bending
A flexible approach to tasks
Willingness to follow instructions given

Travel details

In your local area, we can reimburse travel expenses.

Travel expenses

Usually 15 miles to/from home at 45p/mile but will consider wider radius in rural areas.

You will receive a Knowledge Nest training portal account with all of your statutory training. You will be supported by our friendly team and receive a full induction before you start in your new role
