Volunteer Social Media Assistant

Glasgow - Drumchapel Citizens Advice Bureau is a local, independent charity which provides free, impartial and confidential advice and information to give you the tools you need to sort out any issues or problems. We’re at the heart of the community, supporting people who live and work in G1 to G15 and offer several services.

Make a difference at Drumchapel CAB as a Volunteer Social Media Assistant – it can be incredibly rewarding to contribute your time to a cause our community cares about!

We are looking for volunteers interested in social media to help create:
-ongoing content for the Bureau’s social media platforms and
-to keep our social media channels updated with brand focused news, updates and information.
-We are hoping you can also seek out new social media avenues and ways to connect with our community that we haven’t thought of.

Training will be provided through our online learning management system as well in house training on accessing our platforms and using bureau resources and tool kits. Support will be provided by the learning and development coordinator to integrate you into the team and help with all ongoing learning.

Our volunteers come from all walks of life.
All we ask in return is a commitment of at least 6 hours per week, a willingness to learn and dedication for a minimum of 12 months.

If you are interested please click the ‘apply’ button below (available when logged in and registered). You will then be contacted by the Learning & Development Coordinator by email or phone call. If you have not heard back after 5 working days, the first step is to contact the organisation with the contact details provided. You could also check your junk/spam folder on your emails just in case the response is there. If that doesn’t work out then please feel free to contact Volunteer Glasgow.
