Live Music Now Scotland Volunteer

Live Music Now Scotland has a Scotland-wide Volunteer Network. Our volunteers give practical support in concerts to free the musicians to do their job of entertaining and engaging their audience. Concerts take place in care homes, dementia centres and other community settings. The tasks for volunteers are very varied with everything from finding the off switch on the communal TV to encouraging audience engagement and helping venue staff complete evaluation forms on the impact of our work. Perhaps you have specific skills and experience we could use. No musical ability is needed, just a degree of common sense and an eye to notice what needs to be done.
We are a flexible organisation and would aim to work around what you can offer. We offer travel expenses where necessary. If you are interested, please contact Rachel Spencer at rachel.spencer@livemusicnow.scot.
We’ll take it from there.

Travel details

LMNS performances take place across Scotland. However, we aim to offer performances to local volunteers, to minimise travel and our carbon footprint. We reimburse all reasonable travel expenses.
