Volunteer Social Befrienders

Quarriers Finnart Street and Westview are small residential services in Greenock for adults with disabilities. We are looking for volunteers who enjoy social events and would like to support our residents to go out into the community. We asked our residents what they would like to do.....

Would you be surprised that this is some of the activities they are interested in, they need someone like you to help:

  • Go to the cinema.

  • Go dancing and singing.

  • Go to the theatre.

  • Go to a restaurant / cafe.

  • Go to Braehead.

  • Go Swimming.

  • Play pool.

  • Someone to set my hair.

  • Take me to mass.

  • Crochet

  • Go to the PUB!!!!
These events provide fun, friendship, develop self confidence and offer people the best life experiences, exploring their opportunities for greater independence and building genuine friendships with other people in their community. We would love to hear from you.
