The John Rae Society are looking for a Secretary to take minutes at their online meetings.
The society's main aim is to restore the Hall of Clestrain, John Rae's family home in Orphir, and turning it into an excellent visitor centre as well as developing an Arctic Centre close by, with restaurant, nature pond, cycle path, footpath and access road.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to get to know and understand this developing and exciting society, as well as gaining a greater knowledge of John Rae Arctic Explorer, archaeological research, The Hudson Bay Company and nature conservancy.
There is an option for minutes to be taken from meeting recordings if flexibility is required.
Experience required
Excellent computer literacy and reliability.

Initial support in taking minutes, if needed.
Restrictions
Minimum age: 18
Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
