Helping to run a monthly community lunch aiming to combat isolation and build community connections in Cardrona and surrounding area.
Assist with set-up – setting out tables/chairs/crockery.
Either help with service and making people feel welcome – taking food orders and taking food to tables.
OR
Help in the kitchen – washing up.
Assist with clear-up – clearing tables, putting tables/chairs away, washing up.
Experience required
Friendly and welcoming,
Good at working in a team.
Aware of needs within the room: sometimes, when very busy, the priority is service. Sometimes someone is sitting on
their own or is in need of a chat.
Able to adapt to what’s required.
Good personal hygiene
No previous experience required as support and training will be given.

Takes place monthly on every third Tuesday of the month from 11a.m. until 1.30 or 2.30 p.m.
Volunteers (aged 12-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
