Could you place Marie Curie collections tins and boxes in your local neighbourhood? Collection Box Coordinators help to raise money and awareness for Marie Curie by placing and emptying collection boxes during our Great Daffodil Appeal and collection tins for the rest of the year.
Using your local knowledge and confidence in talking to potential new shops, pubs, and businesses you will build and manage your own group of collection sites, through placing new tins and boxes, regularly emptying existing ones, banking any money raised and thanking your supporting sites.
Collection Box coordinators play a key role in raising income and spreading awareness of Marie Curie, supporting collections and events and being the local contact in their neighbourhood.
Collection Box Coordinator’s tasks include, but are not restricted to some of the following;
-Place and empty collection boxes in pubs, shops and other locations
-Be the cheery face of Marie Curie at our collections, holding a bucket or tin and collecting
money
-Promote events and speak to the public about events in their area
Experience required
-Good people skills and are well-organised
-Self-motivation and can work independently as well as part of a team
-Good knowledge of the local area
-Commitment to help raise money in the community
