Purpose of the Role: The Bruce Festival 2024 will be a larger Heritage Day in Maybole and is expected to be a well-attended day. We are looking for enthusiastic community volunteers to assist in ensuring the day is a success

Location: South Ayrshire (Easy access to Maybole required)

Hours: Friday 12th July 12pm – 6pm & Saturday 13th July 11am – 5pm or 5pm – 9pm

Purpose of the Role: The Bruce Festival 2024 will be a larger Heritage Day in Maybole and is expected to be a well-attended day. We are looking for enthusiastic community volunteers to assist in ensuring the day is a success. This could be through stewarding, car parking volunteers, moving equipment, setting up the field or even technical support. They will do this with support from the volunteer coordinator and the production manager and other volunteers where required. Plenty of support will be available.


Main Responsibilities and Role: Volunteers will be able to assist with a number of tasks including moving equipment, setting up arenas, setting out seating, stewarding, car park stewarding, litter picking and much more. Volunteers need to be 16 or over.


We are looking for:


 Passion for learning and the community.
 Organisation and time management skills.
 Attention to detail and good communication skills.
 Self-motivated people who can work independently or as part of a team.

We will have a briefing/training session during the week of the event. All volunteers are welcome.

Minimum age: 16

Volunteers (aged 16-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
