No Panic
- VO100730
We are a national helpline and service provider for those suffering with all types of anxiety disorders. Our charity has been in operation for thirty plus years and we receive well over 75,000 calls a year. We are now well established as a mental health charity having won a number of awards including the Queens Award for Voluntary Services.
Anxiety disorders can be extremely distressing and difficult conditions, but in many cases, help can be given and they are recoverable. Once trained, you will be able to offer support, help, information and understanding to those feeling desperate and hopeless.
This is an opportunity to connect with sufferers and the rewards can be profound.
This is an opportunity to help those suffering from anxiety disorders. It is a remote opportunity where everything is done from the comfort of your own home.
Full training will be given and this also happens over the phone.
Experience required
No previous experience is necessary. Volunteers should be able to listen with empathy and offer help, advice and support once trained.
Travel details
Everything is done from your home phone or a mobile phone. Calls will be diverted to you so you could be anywhere provided it is quiet and confidential.
