Pets as Therapy

Every week people of all ages enjoy a friendly visit from dog and cat owners who volunteer with Pets As Therapy (PAT). These PAT Teams visit a range of establishments including residential homes, daycare centres, schools,universities, hospitals and hospices.
As a PAT volunteer you will become part of a rewarding volunteering group who make a difference to the lives of people in your local community. What’s more, you do this with the pet you love.
Experience required
Good communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Some IT skills. Pets must have lived with the owner for at least 6 months.
