Social Media Volunteer (Fife)

Help Royal Voluntary Service raise awareness of the vital work it does and the difference its volunteers make.
This role is to help support the local team with social media updating and amplification. You will assist the local team to update local Facebook and X pages, boosting engagement and responding to comments and questions.
This is an exciting and flexible role which will be closely involved with local service managers and volunteers as well as the national social media team.

Experience required

RVS are looking for people with experience in social media and an understanding of their core audiences.
You will need good judgment and be willing to jump on opportunities as they come in to engage with audiences and maintain a constant flow of content on our media profiles.
Good communication skills, reliability, passion and enthusiasm will be needed.
You will receive relevant training for the role and will be welcomed and supported by a friendly, local team.

Travel details

This opportunity is within the Fife area and can be completed from home.

Travel expenses

Volunteers can claim expenses incurred travelling to and from their duties. Drivers are re-imbursed at 45p per mile, we pay public transportation rates. Volunteers can claim weekly or monthly.

Support
Training details

The volunteer will be working with a team of local volunteers and staff who will support the volunteer as well as the Royal Voluntary Service national media team.
