Meaningful Activities Volunteer

By providing company and companionship, volunteers will be enhancing the patient experience and helping to reduce any feelings of isolation and loneliness.

Activities include:
• Chatting and listening to patients.
• Reading to patients.
• Playing board games.
• Reminiscence activities using discussion, books and other resources.

Experience required

• Helpful, friendly and caring.
• Ability to use own initiative.
• Confidence in a hospital setting.

Travel details

Accessible by car, bus and foot.

Taster

If interested, we will invite you along for an 'Expression of Interest' visit and then an induction session once the application is complete.
