About this event
We are looking for adult Volunteers to help support 10 of of our young carers aged between 7-11yrs on a residential trip to Ardvulin House near Fort William from 18th - 22nd November 2024. (Male or female volunteers welcome to apply).
Volunteering details
We are looking for fun loving people who could help us to make this a great holiday experience for our young carers in the Elgin area (see attached poster) the holiday will encourage and support outdoor activities so applications are invited from people with a fun loving attitude to life. Sleeping accommodation will be on a shared room basis and transport to and from Elgin and Ardvulin House will be available.
Experience required
As the trip will be a residential stay there will be expectation of basic domestic skills ie general food preparation and cleaning as well as interaction and communication with the young people and other Volunteers and Quarriers staff.

Minimum age: 21
As the trip will include some physical fun activities it is preferred that applicants are reasonably physically fit and active.
