Furniture Plus provides affordable furniture to people in Fife through their Dysart and Dunfermline stores, supporting the community and the environment by reducing waste and encouraging reuse. They are looking for Warehouse Assistants to help out in their showroom in Dunfermline.
The main tasks include:
• Helping to load and unload vans for deliveries and collections
• Ensuring the quality of donated furniture meets Furniture Plus standards
• Book in new stock and move it to the showroom for sale
• Keeping the warehouse environment tidy and safe

Travel expenses
Travel expenses are paid at 24p per mile for a motorbike, 45p per mile for driving and full payment for bus tickets.
Support
Training details
Our warehouse supervisor carries out a full induction (Health & Safety). Each volunteer would be partnered up with a fully experienced member of staff.
