One of the biggest barriers our members face in attending our groups and activities is the ability to get to us. Sometimes our members need a little bit of assistance to get to and from their groups and as a volunteer driver, you would be providing the means for someone to be able to attend the groups which are of importance to them to connect, make friends, talk about issues important to them and have fun.

Travel details

Our volunteer drivers will assist in collecting young people from their homes, take them to the venue in Edinburgh and home again every second Tuesday. Pickups will start from 5pm (depending on location) and drop offs will start after the group finishes at 8pm.

Travel expenses

We provide all out of pocket expenses, so your mileage would be reimbursed at £0.45 per mile through a form submitted to the Volunteer Officer.
