Thornton Rose RDA Session Volunteer

Volunteering with us is a great opportunity to further your skills, such as teamwork and communication, while building your confidence by working in a constantly changing environment surrounded by horses and a fab team.
Volunteers help ensure the smooth and safe running of an RDA session by helping with pony care duties, leading horses, side-walking with a rider, supporting participants in on-the-ground sessions or assisting the coach during a session. There are also opportunities to help with fundraising, administration, and general maintenance. Every week is different!

Please contact us by email at enquiries@thornton-rose-rda.org.uk or via social media to find out more and start your volunteering journey!

No horsey or disability experience is required. A degree of fitness is necessary if taking part in RDA sessions. A variety of skills from horse care, working with disabilities, teamwork, communication and much more!
