Social Media Content Creator Volunteers

Would you like to support Dates-n-Mates, a friendship and dating agency for adults with learning disabilities, to raise awareness of our wonderful campaign and share stories on our social media platforms?

We are seeking volunteers to:

· Assist the Communications Group with gathering and creating content for a variety of social media platforms
· Assist with producing and editing videos for TikTok
· Work alongside the Communications Lead to develop and deliver a social media plan
· Assist with scheduling social media content
· Think of and share innovative ways to drive online engagement and increase awareness of the campaign.
· Identify current and relevant social media trends and updates.


Dates-n-Mates offer a variety of training and support to our volunteers. Any expenses will be covered.


An excellent, enjoyable opportunity to help make a real difference. All volunteers are supported by the Volunteer Co-ordinator and greatly appreciated.

Excellent support and relevant guidance/training is provided to all volunteers. Volunteers are supported by the Volunteer Co-ordinator.

Frequency & commitment
Flexible times available to help. All help makes a difference and is greatly appreciated.

Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
