Climate FORTH Young Leader

Are you passionate about the environment and ready to make a real impact in your community? Join the Climate FORTH Young Leaders Team, where you'll amplify young voices, lead exciting projects, and gain valuable skills for your future. Step up as a leader and help create a greener, more resilient future for the Inner Forth area!

Are you aged 18-25 and living, working, or studying in Falkirk?
Do you want to make a real impact on your community's future?
Are you passionate about the environment and ensuring young voices are heard?

We're looking for passionate young people to help shape the future of their communities. As a Young Leader, you'll:



  • Amplify Young Voices: lead sessions with children, gather their ideas, and make sure your generation's voice is front and centre



  • Go Social: Share your journey on Climate FORTH's social media channels - become a voice for change online!



  • Lead Big Projects: Take charge of a £3750 grant for your area, bringing projects young people care about to life




No experience needed, just energy and enthusiasm.

Be passionate about the environment and tackling the climate and nature crises, amplifying young people's voices, and making a change locally.

Travel details

Locally in Falkirk (as well as Clackmannan, Stirling and Fife).

Travel expenses

45p per mile. Reimbursed after supervisor approval. Bus/train tickets can be purchased ahead of time and bought on volunteer's behalf.

Support
Training details

Volunteers will be given RSPB induction and standard volunteer training (Health and safety, GDPR). Safeguarding training and PVG check will be required.

Minimum age: 18
Must live, work or study in Falkirk.
