RSPB Scotland's Youth Network for Nature (Microvolunteering)

Would you like to meet other young people from across Scotland who share a passion for wildlife, conservation and addressing climate change? RSPB Scotland is looking for young people aged 12-18 to join their new Youth Network for Nature.

During online monthly meetings you will get the opportunity to:

Develop advocacy skills to campaign for nature issues that matter to you
Network with other young people RSPB and our wider partners
Hear about conservation-based careers from our experts
Learn and develop new skills such as photography and nature journaling
Talk about nature news
Discover volunteering opportunities
Connect with other young people who are passionate about nature and conservation
We currently meet online via Teams, the first Wednesday of each month 7 - 8.30 p.m.

This is an opportunity to be part of the UK’s biggest nature conservation charity. The nature crisis is urgent and we need your ideas!

RSPB Scotland is committed to being fair, open, and inclusive. We've tried to make this network as accessible as possible and will accommodate individual needs to the best of our ability. If you require any further information, or if something is missing, please drop us an email at youth.scotland@rspb.org.uk and we’ll be happy to chat more.

After applying and (depending on your age) getting email consent from a parent/carer, we will arrange a quick chat to find out what kinds of things you’re interested in. Then you are part of the Network!

Experience required

You don't need to be a bird expert or even have loads of free time! We just need your passion and willingness to be a part of the solution.
