Fundraising & Events Co-ordinator

The Fundraising and Events Co-ordinator DOES NOT have to attend committee meetings in person or online, but it is preferable.

The Fundraising and Events Co-ordinator’s main responsibility is supporting the Lead Fundraiser with funding and grant applications if required, the co-ordination and delivery of fundraising and group events, including awareness raising events for the benefit of Spikin Autism and More.

Duties include (but are not limited to):


· Deciding on what are appropriate events for the group in conjunction with the Committee, particularly the Lead Fundraiser.


· Establishing a regular calendar of events for the year.


· Coordinating the organising and arranging of volunteers for the events.


· Coordinating the organising and arranging of equipment for the events.


· Ensuring appropriate venue lets have been arranged.


· Ensuring risk assessments have been completed and are reviewed regularly for events.


· Ensuring appropriate licences for events are obtained.


· Ensure volunteers have relevant PVG’s and training such as food hygiene certificates and/or first aid training as required.


· Ensuring and co-ordinating feedback from those attending events are obtained for funding, grant applications and progression of SAAM.


· A report on the progress regarding fundraising and other events is to be provided at committee meetings. Should the Fundraising and Events Co-ordinator not be able to attend the meeting the report is to be provided to the Lead Fundraiser, Chair or Vice-Chair to be read out during committee meetings.
