Join the Arkbound Foundation’s Exciting Crowdfunding Campaign as a Volunteer!

The Arkbound Foundation is all about making the publishing and media industries more inclusive and accessible. We believe that everyone, no matter their background or circumstances, should have the opportunity to become a published author or journalist. Our work focuses on three key areas: writing workshops, book publishing, and mentoring—all aimed at giving a voice to underrepresented communities.

This October, we’re running a special book fundraiser, and we need enthusiastic and talented volunteers to help make it a success! We’re crowdfunding to publish a ground-breaking book on the climate crisis, exploring themes of ecological collapse and revolutionary change.

How You Can Help:
We’re looking for volunteers who are:

Passionate about the climate crisis and eager to contribute to meaningful change.
Comfortable using social media to spread the word and raise awareness.
Happy to email or call organisations to seek support and donations.
Open to bringing their own fundraising ideas to the table.
Fundraising experience is great but not essential—what we need most is your enthusiasm and a commitment of at least 5 hours per week for the last two weeks of October.

Why Volunteer with Arkbound?
Make a tangible difference by helping diversify the publishing industry.
Expand your skill set in areas like project management, event coordination, and marketing.
Support meaningful projects that have a direct impact on marginalized communities.
Tailor the role to your interests, allowing you to grow in areas that matter most to you.
We’d love to hear from you if you’re passionate about equality, creativity, and giving everyone a platform to share their stories.
By volunteering, you’ll help us raise the publication costs for this important book, while also gaining experience in fundraising and contributing to a cause you care about.

If this sounds like a great fit for you, click the ‘Apply’ button below! You’ll be contacted by our coordinator within five working days to discuss the role in more detail. If you don't hear back, be sure to check your junk or spam folder, or reach out to us directly at Volunteer Glasgow (info@volunteerglasgow.org).
