Branch Committee Member Volunteer (Highland Branch)

Branches are run entirely by volunteers with advice and support from the national charity.

This branch needs some committee members to help them decide on the branch’s direction and activities.

What you will be doing
There are several roles on offer depending on your skills and how much time you are willing to offer. You could;
Acting as a leader and coordinator for the branch.
Looking after the branch finances.
Taking responsibility for organising committee meetings and taking notes at committee meetings.
Ensuring that the branch is a safe place for children and vulnerable adults and is complying with NAS policies.
Organising branch fundraising activities.
Writing a newsletter for the branch members.
Organising group outings and activities for branch members.
Be responsible for the campaigning the branch does.
Organising PR for the branch including running a website.


Experience required

Confident in volunteering with and communicating with other committee members, and individuals.
Dependent on the role chose.
