Committee Member

Include Me is a small charity established in 2008 to recruit, train, match and support local volunteers to become Citizen Advocates for adults aged 16-65 living in North East Fife who are vulnerable, isolated and at risk of being excluded from their communities. They want to recruit a new committee member with particular skills and/or experience of identifying grant opportunities and fundraising. This individual would identify appropriate funding streams to support current work and new activities and would work with staff and other committee members to prepare and submit bids. They would also assist the Treasurer in preparing grant applications to current funders as well as taking part in the other aspects of management committee work.

Include Me is committed to social justice, inclusion and personal choice.

Experience required

Experience of fundraising and grant applications. All other skills and experience are welcome, and particularly appreciated would be knowledge of the Voluntary Sector and some previous experience of committee work. You should be able to attend a six-weekly meeting, contribute to discussion and follow up on tasks. A commitment to justice, human rights and equality is important.
