Can you help drive an Older Person to a local tea party?

Do you have a couple hours a month to help take an Older Person to a tea party?

We are looking for kind empathetic people to help drive an Older Person to a local tea party, stay for a blether and some cake, and then help take them home again. Often someone's main obstacle to leaving the house and being less isolated is their physical mobility. If you can't drive anymore or find getting to the bus stop difficult you can find yourself very isolated from your community but with your help we can help connect with people again.

Our local tea party is held in local venues or at people's homes and you will take the same person to and from the group. You are supported by our team at Re-Engage and by your volunteer coordinator.

You need to provide your own car but 2-doors are absolutely fine as well.
