Adapted Cycling Session Volunteers - Peterhead

The Grampian Inclusive Cycling Bothies is a project set up by Grampian Disability Sport which aims to make cycling as accessible and inclusive for everyone. We have hubs covering whole of Grampian, including; Banff, Peterhead, Alford and Aberdeen and are looking for volunteers to help run these sessions. The rough outline of what a volunteer may need to do at sessions would be: - General assistance in getting cycles in and out of storage and on to the track - Check over bikes (training on each bike will be given) - ‘Meet & Greet’ as participants arrive for their session - Give assistance to those getting on the bikes and putting on helmets if required - Accompanying riders around the track to encourage them - Transport bikes back to storage All relevant training would be provided and no previous experience needed.
