An new exciting volunteer role to support local people in Twechar to gain confidence in using smart technologies, primarily iPads.
This project is designed to empower local people by teaching them how to use an iPad to improve their lives. This is an exciting and fun project that will improve your teaching skills. Your role is to meet new learners either in the community centre or other suitable venue, identify and deliver training to enable the client to use an iPad for a variety of activities. This will be conducted over a limited number of sessions depending on the clients needs
Experience required
Knowledge of technology particularly iPads
Travel details
Twechar has a regular bus service
Restrictions
Minimum age: 18
Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
