Community Café Assistant

Join our friendly team at the Community Café in Granton! Tasks include greeting customers, serving teas, coffees and refreshments, basic food prep.,cleaning (e.g., dishes, tables) and supporting café operations. No experience needed—full training provided, including Health & Hygiene Certification. Ideal for those seeking to gain skills or give back to the community. Commit to 4+ hours a week for 6 months and help create a welcoming hub for all!

Training details

All volunteers receive a full induction to familiarise them with the café, safety procedures and their role. Comprehensive training is provided, including customer service, food preparation, cleaning and Health & Hygiene Certification. Ongoing support ensures you feel confident and valued. No prior experience is needed as we are committed to helping you develop new skills and grow in your role. Our supportive team will guide you every step of the way to ensure a positive volunteering experience.
