The role of an Pickleball Ambassador is to help grow the number of people playing Pickleball in North Lanarkshire by introducing the game to people for the first time or first few times. The main aim of the Pickleball Ambassador is to ensure safety and enjoyment and avoid over technical coaching so that when people are introduced to the game they want to come back for more!
What’s involved?
• Facilitate games of Pickleball and be a point of contact for participants
• Ensure that safety is prioritised.
• Be able to provide a very brief history and understanding of Pickleball.
• Introduce the rules bit by bit not all at once.

Qualities and skills required for the role:
• Enthusiastic, outgoing and motivated individual.
• Confidence to engage with people and encourage participation in Pickleball.
• Organisational skills to facilitate games of Pickleball
• Communication skills to be able liaise with participants, management and venue staff
