Our charity provides services that promote physical, mental, emotional, and community wellbeing, support low-income families, foster community cohesion, combat isolation and champion sustainability and the circular economy.

As a retail volunteer, you’ll be supporting our charity shop mission to offer affordable, preloved items to households on low incomes, to reuse and repurpose preloved items, and to divert waste from landfill. Duties will include: customer service, support, sales and returns; taking inventory of donations; assisting with stock sorting and pricing; merchandising in the main shop; stock management and storeroom management; stock taking; recycling

In return, we offer employability skills training, agreed volunteer outcomes, or simply the chance to meet and socialise with like-minded people and to be part of a vital rural community hub.

No experience is needed – we provide full training and support to help you feel confident in your role. Young people can work towards their Saltire Awards with our volunteering scheme.
