Community and fundraising support volunteer

Our charity provides services that promote physical, mental, emotional, and community wellbeing, support low-income families, foster community cohesion, combat isolation and champion sustainability and the circular economy.

As a Community Support and fundraising volunteer, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our community services and events such as Inclusive Stay and Play and in supporting our annual calendar of fundraising events. The role will involve: planning and managing community and fundraising events with other volunteers; supporting the delivery of community events delivered at our community hub such as Stay and Play, cinema and theatre, kids activities; supporting fundraising events on site and off site including organised external events; sourcing potential donors or raffle prizes for fundraising; the opportunity to learn how to write grant applications; encouraging participation in personal fundraising challenges.

In return, we offer employability skills training, agreed volunteer outcomes, or simply the chance to meet and socialise with like-minded people and to be part of a vital rural community hub.

No experience is needed – we provide full training and support to help you feel confident in your role. Young people can work towards their Saltire Awards with our volunteering scheme.

Our facility is fully accessible.
