Plean parkrun
- VO102166
Plean parkrun is a free, weekly timed 5k held in Plean Country Park.
It starts every Saturday at 9.30am and everyone is welcome to run, walk or jog the course.
Each week we need a dozen volunteers to make it happen - five marshals to guide everyone around safely and to be our eyes and ears on the course; two Timekeepers, two Barcode Scanners, one person to hand out Finish Tokens, a help with setting up and closing down; as well as carrying out a recce. And as nobody is ever last we also need a Tailwalker to make sure everyone gets around safely.
We are also keen to encourage people to walk the course and for that we would love to have somebody carry out teh role of parkwalker.
And if there are any budding photographers we would welcome you to come along and take photos on the day for our official channels.
All volunteers must be registered with parkrun ( www.parkrun.org.uk/register/) and provide their barcode number when letting us know they can volunteer. An explanation of each role can be found on our future roster by clicking on the role https://www.parkrun.org.uk/plean/futureroster/
