Safebase Scotland
- VO102160
We are looking to recruit first aiders or those that want to become a first aider to support our Stirling Operations.
Safebase provides a safe space for those that need additional support when out at night. We provide basic first aid through to advanced skills. We work in partnership with the Scottish Ambulance Service, Police Scotland, Go Forth Stirling, Street Pastors and Stirling Council.
A lot of the time it is simply helping those in need, it can be a chat or even them helping them to a taxi or a bus. We need are looking of no judgemental people with a sense of humour to join our team.
This will be an evening operation starting from around 20:00 till 03:00 in the morning. This may be some weekdays as well as Friday and Saturday. We are not expecting volunteers to be able to assist every shift but we do need a minimum commitment of at least once a month.
This would suit people that are looking to get into the Ambulance service or people that want to make a real difference.
