We are looking for a small number of volunteers to join our Oak Tree ward in East Lothian Community Hospital as music performance volunteers. Many patients in the Oak Tree ward are experiencing dementia and we know that music can have a huge impact in helping to alleviate stress and distress. Successful volunteers will attend the ward at agreed times to play music for those in our care here.

Volunteers will be given an induction for their role plus access to additional learning as required
Restrictions
Minimum age: 18
Availability
Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
