Friends of the Broadway Prestwick is a community group dedicated to bringing the former Broadway Cinema in Prestwick into community ownership.

Our aim is to reopen the Broadway as a professional cinema, exciting multi-use venue, and inter-generational community hub.

We are looking for a Volunteer Finance Director who will have oversight of all financial matters, liaise with our accountants and bookkeepers, and take forward a number of relevant projects. The Finance Director will have a key role in ensuring the board remains compliant with all finance and funding requirements.
Responsibilities

Be familiar with our budget, financial structure, income sources and expenses

Have knowledge of nonprofit financial management requirements

Oversee the work of our bookkeepers/accountants

Lead the monthly financial reporting process

Develop and support projects such as VAT registration, Gift Aid and Just Giving

Work with the board in reviewing the budget and making recommendations

Help identify donors and sponsors

Experience required

Qualified Accountant

Proven background in Financial Management

Strong IT skills
