Volunteer with Friends of the Broadway Prestwick.

Friends of the Broadway Prestwick is a community group dedicated to bringing the former Broadway Cinema in Prestwick into community ownership.

Our aim is to reopen the Broadway as a professional cinema, exciting multi-use venue, and inter-generational community hub.

We are looking for General Events Support Volunteers to provide personalised support to visitors to our events which are held in a variety of locations.

Responsibilities include:

Welcome and safely escorting people to their seats or other areas of the building

Selling concessions, encouraging new membership and donations as appropriate

Attend events in a range of locations and become familiar with the layout and health and safety regulations

Cashing up post-event, reconciling all monies

General tidy-up after events

Experience required

Good time management and organisational skills

Ability to work under pressure

Excellent people skills
