The Scout Association provide life skills for young people across the country, in this role you will be
working as part of a team to deliver a programme of activities to 14-18 year old young people.
Experience required
Volunteering with the scouts is a great way to develop leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
while making a positive impact on young people and your community. It involves mentoring, organising
activities, and fostering problem-solving and adaptability in dynamic environments. You'll also gain
valuable experience in teaching, first aid, and community engagement, all while building patience,
resilience, and empathy.

You will get access to the Scout Associations training for adult leaders. This has comprehensive training
across many areas that will help support you in your role.

Availability
Volunteers (aged 14-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
