Boxing Scotland - Judge/Timekeeper

Do you have a passion for giving back? Boxing Scotland are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers to join our growing team of officials for Olympic-style boxing in Scotland.

As the only official governing body for the development of Olympic style boxing in Scotland, Boxing Scotland are recognised by sportscotland, GB Boxing, UK Sport, Commonwealth Games Scotland, British Boxing Board of Control (BBBoC), UK Anti Doping (UKAD), IBA & World Boxing.

Future opportunities for prospective officials include officiating at community boxing club shows, national championships, and for those who display excellent aptitude, international tournaments.


Full training will be provided by experienced officials in a welcoming environment.


Experience required

No prior experience required, all training will be provided.

Travel details

All travel expenses covered at national events.

Training details

All applicants will attend an induction session led by a member of Boxing Scotland, to introduce them to the role. Then, further training will be provided for the role of Judge/Timekeeper.

Boxing events are primarily held on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
