Listening Ear Volunteer

Our Listening Ear project provides social support to people who are feeling isolated as a result of their involvement with the criminal justice system.
We are looking for volunteers who would be happy to volunteer one hour a week to provide social contact to someone who is feeling isolated.
No specialist knowledge is required, simply an open, non-judgemental attitude and a friendly, listening ear.
Access to a phone is required to enable you to stay in touch with the person you have been matched with.

One initial, online training session. One hour per week once matched with a supported person.
