Treasurer

Are you passionate about community, nature, and sustainability? Do you have financial or accounting experience and want to use your skills to make a real difference? Forres Friends of Woods & Fields (FFWF) is looking for a Volunteer Treasurer to join our Board of Trustees and help oversee the charity’s finances.

About Us
FFWF is a community-based environmental charity in Forres, Moray, stewarding 26 acres of woodland and fields. Our mission is to restore these natural spaces, promote local food sustainability, and create a thriving community resource for education, wellbeing, and connection with nature.
The Role
As Treasurer, you will:
Oversee the charity’s financial health and ensure sound financial management.
Maintain financial records and prepare reports for trustee meetings.
Support budgeting and funding applications.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial and regulatory requirements.

Who We’re Looking For
We welcome applicants with:
Experience in finance, bookkeeping, or accounting.
An interest in environmental sustainability and community projects.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance professionals.


Commitment & Benefits
