Thirlestane Castle Kiosk Assistant

Become part of the long and wonderful volunteering history at Thirlestane Castle by being a member of the team that brings its heritage to life for everyone to share.

Thirlestane Castle is open to the public for guided tours from May to September, and for private guided tours the rest of the year. We receive five-star reviews for our guided tours which are delivered with passion and often humour by our guides who help to bring to life the castle’s long history.

Kiosk Assistants will be based in the kiosk and responsible selling guided tour and grounds tickets, promoting gift aid ticket sales, checking pre-booked tickets, liaising with guides and castle staff regarding visitor numbers and any enhanced visitor needs and supporting visitors as necessary.

Days: Wednesday and Thursday 10am to 3pm – 2 days required but if volunteers can only offer one day that would also be appreciated. Starting Wednesday 23 April.
