Family Pregnancy and Baby Loss Support Groups Helpers

Aberdeen Sands is a registered charity and part of the Sands UK-wide network of local groups. Aberdeen Sands supports anyone who has been affected by the death of a baby before, during or shortly after birth. We offer emotional support and information for parents, grandparents, siblings, children, families and friends, health professionals and others. Aberdeen Sands is managed by a committee of volunteers, all of whom are bereaved parents.

We are currently seeking volunteers to help at our monthly Sunday afternoon family pregnancy and baby loss support groups that take place at Airyhall Community Centre, Countesswells Road, Aberdeen. Assisting with tasks such as set up, teas and coffees, tidying up the hall at the end of the group meetings.

All help makes a real difference and is greatly appreciated. For more information please contact Fiona Donald, Aberdeen Sands at email: fiona.donald@sandsvolunteer.org.uk
