Volunteer Photographer – Help capture the magic of the Edinburgh Marathon Festival

We are Diabetes Scotland part of Diabetes UK. We’re the UK’s leading charitable funder of diabetes research. For 90 years, our research has been behind some of the biggest leaps forward in diabetes care and changed lives for the better.

We’re looking for passionate volunteer photographer to support us at the Edinburgh Marathon Festival on Sunday
26 May at Musselburgh near Edinburgh. We need someone to help capture the spirit of the day and our amazing UK runners and our events team and volunteers. Your photos will showcase our events, community activities, and the people we support—raising awareness, engaging supporters, and driving our mission forward. Join us in making a difference through the power of photography!

We welcome photographers of all experience levels, as long as you have:
• Access to a DSLR or high-quality digital camera.
• Your own photography and editing equipment (including software).

• Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a variety of people.
• Previous experience using photo editing software.
• Experience following a photographic brief (preferred but not essential).
• Being organised and reliable.
