Skylark IX Recovery Trust

The Skylark IX Recovery Trust cares for a ‘Dunkirk Little Ship’ that saved lives during Operation Dynamo in 1940 and was herself later saved from a watery grave at Loch Lomond in 2012. Today, as a symbol of recovery and resilience, Skylark IX sits at the heart of our projects inspiring people to make positive changes to their lives and communities. We are currently looking for volunteers to support and join the Skylark IX Community Rowing Project.
Our group are looking for people to support them in their rowing activities, and in particular with fundraising for the club. This can be anything from helping us write small grants, finding local sponsors, or organising small events to raise funds. We are also looking for support in publicising and promoting the rowing project within the local area, and organising networking events with other rowing clubs nearby.
So, whether you are looking to use your time well, update your skills or have the chance to do something a bit new, we would love to hear from you. In return, we can offer you a warm welcome and all of the support and help you could need, plus you’ll have the opportunity to row regularly with our crew and take advantage of the beautiful blue space that surrounds us. Having your help will allow us to be there for the people who need us. Any time you can give will make a real difference.
