This is based in Dumbarton Credit Union which is a not for profit organisation which offers the local community savings, affordable loans and free life insurance.
The role is detailed below:
Duties include speaking to members face to face that want to apply for a loan. Reviewing online loan applications for affordability and also reviewing a members’ credit file and being able to give an opinion on whether we would lend to the member or not.
Skills and experience required
Training given so no experience required. Banking/ lending background is desirable.
Timings description-
On a rota basis preferably one shift per week (4 hours).
Morning shift Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday- 9.30am-1pm, Thursday evening- 3.30pm-6pm or Saturday morning 9.30am-12pm.

Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
